| Ok...I was watching tv the other day and The Cosby Show came on. All of the sudden, it hit me. Why in the heck is it called the Cosby show. No one is named Cosby. I can't believe that this has not bothered me before. I think I just accepted it as being ok without thinking about it. Who does Bill Cosby think he is? | Ok...yesterday I watched I Heart Huckabees and I liked it. Then, last night at work I had my very own coincidence at work. (You will only understand if you have watched the movie) This pentecostal family came in the restuarant really late and right away I knew where I had seen them before. Before Beth left we went out to eat at Crazy Habachi and they were at the table right across from us. Needless to say...If I see them again I may hire an investigator. Sorry my life revolves around movies but you know me! | | |
| Well, last night after work I went and rented Spanglish. I have the house to myself so I thought it would be fun to just chill and watch a movie. It dawned on me that I don't like movies that leave me with no answers. I guess life does that enough so why can't a movie bring us those unambiguous answers that we all crave. I'm not sure if anyone else has seen this movie but I didn't know what to think. Do I want him to stay with his wife even though she is out of control insane or do I want him to be with Flor? All I know is that the movie gave me no satisfaction or closure. Needless to say...it wan't the relaxing time I had hoped for! | | |
| Ok, last night at Outback I had this really ghetto fabulous table. I went to the table, greeted them, and asked if I could get them something to drink. The ladies ordered first and then the big guy with the long hair and huge gold chain ordered a beer and then smiled at me. I was shocked to see that his teeth were gold with diamonds. I kid you not. They were really like that. It took every ounce of me not to die laughing. The good thing was everyone wanted a chance to see so I didn't have to do much work. People kept volunteering to run stuff for me. It made me wonder though....where do you get something like that done? Do you just go in to the dentist and say "here are some diamonds, hook me up please"? Maybe someone should try it just to see what the dentist would say! | | |
| Ok...my brain is so fried from memorizing all this stuff for Outback. I don't think I memorized this much stuff since I took neuroscience at Ouachita. At least that information had some sort of value. I am memorizing all of this stuff that is not important. Who knew it would be so hard to make some money this summer! | | |
